Love Takes Wing

Chapter 1
The end of a long day

 In this Chapter a girl named Belinda, was taking care of a family farm in the countryside, she was stressed out because of things that happened in the farm recently. Jamie a worker had cut his hand in a  piece of farm machinery. Luke a guy that was studying medicine helped to cure Jamie and tried to save his fingers. But Belinda was focused on the event that had been filling her with exciment the whole week, the returning of Melissa from the city, Melissa was her nephew but they were like sisters. Belinda was thinking if Melissa was the same or if had the city changed her; she was now finishied wit her teacher's training in the East and would be spending a few weeks at the farm before continuing on to her home in the west. Belinda glanced down at her soiled dress, she hated to leave Luck with the cleaning, but she did need a bath to freshen up to wait for the arrival of Melissa at the train station. Meanwhile Luke was practicing a surgery to Jamie to try to save the fingers.

All the family was going to go to receive Melissa at the station. They were there until Melissa finally arrived and Belinda wanted to hug her but everybody was sorrounding Melissa and Belinda just could not wait to talk to Melissa and discover if she was still the same and if they could be closer as in the past. Finally when they got home they could be alone and share time together. "Oh Belinda" Melissa exclaimed "Look at you!- you are so-so grown-up. And pretty! Ih, I just-" But Melissa did not finishe her statement. Instead, she threw her arms about Belinda, and the two girls held each other tightly. But they could not had that much time together because all the family had questions for Melissa and the end the day passed by and Belinda could not had the deep conversation with Melissa that she wanted because at the end of the day, Melissa was tired and all she wanted was to get rest.
